It’s always good to meet other artists – especially
ones who have fallen in love with the Hebrides – and see their future living
and working in these special and spectacular islands. Lesley and Alisdair Wiseman,
who are both painters, called into the gallery last week to look at our work. After some time chatting, and sharing information about work and contacts, they explained that they
will be making the Isle of Lewis their home and plan to develop their house on the island into a gallery showing their work and the
work of other artists inspired by the Hebrides. Their own paintings really capture the unique
spirit of the outer islands and we wish them well in their new venture. If you
